Waste Salvager Job Description - Sorts usable pieces of cloth from cloth discarded after cutting, and cuts garment parts from salvaged pieces: Cuts out defects, using hand shears, following instructions on cutting ticket. Positions pattern on material and cuts around pattern, using hand shears or electric knife. Stacks garment parts according to size, style, and color. May separate defective cloth according to color and type.
